Default Not So Bad

While I too prefer the older gems of 40 and more years ago, here’s a couple shots of my Model 27-9, “Classic,” purchased new in 2012 and looking not too worse for wear 13K rounds later. Polished-up nicely with a bit of Ren Wax.

Marvelous!! My 5" M27 was made in the 1960s.

Sure looks good from the outside. Still tight after 13k rounds?

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. Truth be told, the bluing on the frame and side plate took on a cloudy appearance after the first year or two, but a light polishing with Flitz seemed to restore it and the cloudiness has never returned. Yes, still quite tight with about 35% of the 13K rounds being magnums. These newer revolvers do provide plenty of guilt-free range time.
