Question 686 Performance Center Pro Series SSR

Anyone know if the 686 Performance Center Pro Series SSR has a one piece barrel?
Think I might pick one up

I bought 2 ssr in recent years internal lock guns.Thought they looked odd at first but they have grown on me.Dont know if the barrels are lighter but i can hold them more steady compared to my other revolvers.I like the quick change front sights. Both shoot small groups after getting forcing cones polished and cylinders worked on.Hope you can find one.

Mine has a one piece barrel, and shoots small groups without anything being done to it. A real favorite.

Had a small-ish problem with mine pertaining to the strain screw which was working loose after tightening. Something to do with the bossed mainspring, other more knowledgeable members have discussed. Perhaps one will chime in and recommend the proper color Loc-tite.

The SSR is one of my favorite guns. It's light and quick handling.

I had a 686 SSR when I was in college. Either a car issue or a tuition issue surfaced and I parted with it, but man I wouldn't mind having it now. I tossed a gold bead on it, it shot well, and (aside from the lock hole) it sure was a looker.

I put a gold bead patridge sight on mine also. Great shooter. Not my favorite, though. That would be my Ruger Vaquero in 44 special and my model 69. A tie for first place.
