Default 686 Seven plus 7" - Picatinny

Hi all,
I have a 686 7 plus 7" with LPA sights and a Venom red dot. It works very well.
I would like to add a shooting training system, and it requires a picatinny rail.

I printed this:
Mantisx rail for S&W Target Champion or Colt Python by JeyBee - Thingiverse

And it worked surprisingly well, even with live rounds (just wad cutters).

The training system (tpd-company) works with blank ammo training and live ammo.

I also "published" my first design, for blank shooting, just a simple ring:

Wondering which alternatives I could have, is there similar lower picatinny accessory but more "rugged" ?
Same goes for blank shooting, is a simple ring good enough?

Thanks in advance.
