Shooter grade 629-4 Three inch

What should I expect to pay for a "shooter grade" 629-4 three inch? No box, no original grips, signs of being carried but mechanily solid.

At least a G. Maybe 1200.

They might not be in your area. I would say good condition with original combats and box probably $1750. Take away box=$1500. Take away combat grips=$1250. Subtract $50-250 for cosmetic wear/handling marks=$1000-1200.

I agree. The values have went up.

I have just over a grand in mine, bought just before Covid hit. A really fun gun to shoot with .44 Special level loads. It points well and is just a nice shooting gun. Mine is also a dash 4 and came with the box labeled Backpacker. There is no markings on the gun to indicate that, just the box.
