I'm looking for a parts picture for my 617. I found the parts list on S&W, but no exploded pic. Any ideas where I could find one? TIA

Try Gun Parts Corporation in New York.

They have an online parts catalog with exploded view diagrams.

It's my pleasure, I hope it has enough detail for you.

Here is the page from the Brownells website with the 617 on it:
http://www.brownells.com/aspx/...+&model=K-Frame+617+
You'll also find what parts they currently have in stock for the gun as well. You will need to go back to the "Schematics" section to get to the different 'Dash' numbers for all the Smith parts.

All the schematics I've seen are the same. A generic S&W revolver.
