Default 3" 625-3

Added a new family member today. I have been looking for some time and here it is. Even though these grips go for a good bit of cash I will be getting one that fits my hand a little better. Maybe a VZ grip.

Good job! I have the 3 incher to (and a 5 incher.) You can definily use anything from .45 standard pressure ACP ammo up to .45 Supers and beyond (but they kick a mite!)

It is a heck of a gun! Here is mine with my 629 Mountain gun. Makes life a bit more fun!

Those 3" just always have a certain appeal to them, whether k frame or n frame. No clue what is about them but they are very attractive! Nice buy!

Very nice grips ... are those aftermarket or refinished factories?

Thanks Mike,
Those are actually untouched, Factory Original, Round Butt, Combat grips. They date from the late eighties to the mid nineties just like these

At the very end (late nineties), the factory started shipping them without medallions, though I am not sure why. I guess Tompkins was too cheap to have new medallions made

That was about the same time that Tompkins auctioned off the Factory Collection

My 625-3 3" says hello.

My wife's proclaimed favorite handgun, purchased from our departed friend 38-44HD45.

These grips are much better then the factory combats. Not much to look at but they were free.

Nice gun. But it looks like you need to trim your brass a bit..

Great catch on the 3" 625. They are hard to come by because not many come up for sale (at a reasonable price).
