I bought a new Model 629--4 inch last Thanksgiving. One of my house guns with .44 special loads, and bear insurance with the mag loads when I am roaming the local woods.

Sent my $50 rebate request in about the second week of December and, hallelujah! the check arrived in yesterday's mail. Coincidentally---I picked up my M & P 9c from the shop yesterday, so I had my S & W prizes clutched in both hands as I came through the door!! It was a good day!!
