A quick one for you guys - is m617 a k-frame? would m617 grips fit my m66-6?

Gress,
Your 617 is a K-frame, as is your 66-6. Your 66 should have a round-butt grip frame, and if your 617 also has a round-butt grip frame, the grips should be interchangeable.

Thanks. Yes my m66 is a round butt k-frame. The thing I am not sure if m617 is a round butt one. I do not own one and just see someone selling the grips from m617.

Generally speaking, the 617s made prior to 1996 were square-butt, and those afterward were round-butt. Best bet is to ask the seller which grip frame his grips came off of.

Short of pulling off the grips; A 617 No-Dash is most likely SB. 617-1 thru -6 are RB.
