Hello All: Anybody ever seen these before? They look like Tylers to me. Any idea on age? Value? Thanks, ezb <hr>

That is the same style as Pachmyer....maybe they made them for Smith....do they have vertical grooves?

Yes, these are labeled S&W and S&W sold them.

I don't know if they were indeed made by Pachymar on contract for S&W or in the S&W facility.

Tell me, is this one "rough" or is it just the picture?

I have never seen any kind of a premium on these for the simple reason that they can be found sometimes in junk boxes at gun shows, but you do have a box with it. I've never seen a box for one- guess most people threw the boxes out as usual on such an inexpensive, "plastic" accessory. Go figure.

I have one on a model 14, and it works as it was designed. A very handy accessory indeed, and was priced less than a comparable Tyler T-grip.

I've got a S&W stamped grip adapter on my Model 28. It appears to be slightly different than my Pachmyer grip adapters. The S&W is a bit more flexible on the bottom. Got mine in the mid-70s.
