Any suggestions on a bipod for my 629 8"? All of the ones I have looked at so far collapse to a minimum of 9". I need something shorter. I like to rest the base of my hands on the bench with the barrel in a rest. Thanks.

I already use both wooden "V" rests and sanbags, as available. The idea of a bipod is that I could fold it up alongside the barrel for carry .

Try to find a guy named "Silent" to carry it for you.
