Though I have been looking for a 696 dash zero, this one popped up yesterday while perusing GB. I hemmed and hawed and said if it were there after dinner, I would hit "buy it now".
Someone beat me to the punch. Not a screaming deal but a good one, imho. Lee just sold one on GB for alot more.
Oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes.

Man!! That is one of those things If you see something that is a great deal and you dicker around on it you will loose it.....I would have bought that at that price if I had the money...

Ken, that's why I didn't. If it were a bit lower I may have, but still looking for that elusive no dash.

When I walked up on my 696 no dash, I had been looking for one for 4 years. As soon as I saw the price tag, I got my money out and bought it. No haggleing or trying to talk him down. It's a good thing too. While the guy was waiting on the insta check to come back, another guy came up and tryed to buy it. He had seen it earlier and had to sell his gun before he could by it. Fortunately, I got there first.

So what is a "Good" price for a 696-0 (no dash) with the original box and papers?

Apparently MORE than I thought as the one I have sitting in the Sales section hasn't sold and has resulted in one request I lower the price.

hmm

I had a 696 no dash and sold it. Pretty much broke even on the deal. I don't miss it...found something that I consider a BETTER gun...a 66-1 snubby.
