I recently bought a 4" 686-1 and have not had a chance to shoot it yet. When I got it, I gave it a good cleaning and put it aside. I was swapping grips on it today and doing some dry firing to see how the grips felt. After I pull the trigger (double action) the trigger does not always return to battery, it will hang up in the fired position. Any ideas on what causes this and how to correct it? Thanks.

It could be a few things:
1 Its dirty and needs took apart and cleaned.

2 The spring on the return has been cut, replaced or weak.

3 All of the above.
