Hi Fellas,
Have a M629-2F serial# BEE5001 can't find it in my Book of S&W second edition(the one withe light blue cover).It might be a Lew Horton-3" barrel Stainless,non fluted cylinder, full underlug Magna-ported, Pachmyre grips,ajustible rear sights, black front sight.

629 3" Born on date?

1989, and it should be 629-2E and not 629-2F.

I was hoping it was, my book says the 89s were Lew Hortons and that year they strengthened
the yoke and what have you.Gonna get a Roy Jinks letter from S&W, but I have to recuperate from the $420 I paid for it.
