This 50th anniversary Model 29-10 was made for the S&WCA and auctioned at our annual meeting in 2006. It has an exceptional high polish and an inscribed side plate. The special serial number is MAG5029 (MAGnum 50th Anniversary Model 29). The stocks are from a 125th anniversary Model 25-3.

Bill, I wish the factory had of put that polish job on the regular run 50th Anniversary 29-10s. They look almost dull compared to this one.

Bill,
Another "One-of-a-Kind" - Thanks for the photo!
Interesting stocks w/ right side cutout and at least one stripe appearing as though laminated?
What did the case/ box appear like for this one-of-a-kind .44 Magnum? Are you aware of other 4-screw N fames without a pinned barrel?

The stocks were made for a 125th anniversary Model 25-3. That revolver had a large anniversary logo on the side plate and that is why the right stock panel is cut the way it is. The stocks are made of Goncalo alves and are not laminated.
I believe all current N-frames are made with the four-screw side plate and no pin in the barrel (or trigger guard). The Model 29-8 was made in the same way and was one of the guns used to commemorate the 150th anniversary of S&W in 2002.

50th Anniversary Model 29-10 in its case with accessories. The ivory stocks are replacements for the original stocks.
