I picked up a Performance Center 66 with the muzzle brake forward of the front sight, box and papers. I do believe that I have found my favorite revolver (for now at least)! One thing that I will need to change is the rubber grips as I love wood grips so much more than rubber.

For wood grips: I love Ahrends, and the Speigel grips look good. What other grip makers are worthy to put on this fine revolver?

Pics, well I will get some in the next few days.

Great gun. I have the PC 586 L-Comp. Best fitted revolver I have ever seen or owned. B/C runs .002! Very little powder and blast make it out onto the cylinder.

To me, the Spegel Boot Grip is where you should stop your search, but I'm biased.

Here's a couple pics of the F-Comp with Spegels, both are wearing Macassar Ebony Boot grips, which look good on the stainless:

Thanks for the pics, sure makes visualizing a lot easier. Those are some great looking guns for sure.

SmithNut, those Spegal boots are stunning! Nice collection of gats as well!

greenberry, if you're not concerned with concealment, you might think about the factory combats also.

That's a 19 round butt on the bottom.

I guess I ought to dress my one and only Comp in something other than rubber...
