I've used both types for both types of bullets without regard to which one was the "correct" one,and it seeeeems that both my V and XVR prefer the comp with the small holes on top (the jacketed one). Leading did not seem a problem with either. This is with a large variety of ammunition and velocities. The recoil differences between them are not significant and sometimes they seem to change my opinion of which has more, but the accuracy is much better (I THINK) with the one for jacketed bullets. I suspect the 395's will be (a lot) more "fun" than the 200's
