A friend of mine says he saw a Bodyguard with an unfluted cylinder in a movie. I have never seen a Bodyguard, or any J frame for that matter, in that configuration. Does anyone know anything about such a gun?

Several years ago, I actually had an unfluted Model 60 but sold it to a more dedicated J-frame collector at the Milwaukee SWCA meeting in 2003. He seemed quite pleased to get it and, as I recall, referred to it as "Michigan Police Supply"

IIRC there were some unfluted 442's made up for a government agency. I think the Secret Service bought them. Regards 18DAI.
