Upon doing an inventory the other day, I realized that I had an even dozen 3" N frames...enough to make a proper "wheel" or "clock". So here it is, with a 696 and 686 thrown in the middle for good measure.

That is some nice hardware. I always loved the 21/2 and 3 inchers. They have just the right look and balance.

I'm very fond of 3" N frames. I carried a 657 version for several years for a duty gun. They are great for fast draw work too, although a little heavy for that.

That is a nice collection you've got going. I had to count mine now that you brought it up. I'm only up to seven o'clock.

Very nice, my "second" hand is stuck.
All I have is a 629-1 LH, as far as 3 inch N's go.
Your spread is awesome.

Tsk, tsk, $9000-$12000 worth of revolvers, and the poor fellow doesn't have anything nicer than a bath towel to rest them on. Let's all chip in and buy that man a S&W mat.

Nice collection

Ken,

Thats a heck of nice gathering

I'm a sucker for short barreled revolvers, theres just something cool about 'em, and I can shoot them just about as good as longer barrel guns.

Are you going to bring a few of those beauties to the AZ forum meet next month?

Bill

Mighty impressive! I'm curious on how many years it took you to find/acquire those...they are pretty elusive around here, unless one goes on the auction websites.
Wheel to be very proud of, and thanks for sharing!

I'm starting to really like my 3" 625. Compared to the Mountain Gun it definitely feels heavier on the belt due to that lugged barrel, but making hit DA out to 50 yards is much easier.

Took about a year and a half to collect em...although one of the 24-3s I bought new back in 1984.
