Gotta love those N frame snubbies!

Here are a few:

Lew Horton 657

Lew Horton 24

Pre 27 w/Don Collins grips

John Jovino 57

Early 27-2

I needed my N frame fix for the day.

Best,

Michael

Here's my no-nonsense little 29-4 snubby with unfluted cylinder. The Pachmayr grips are are original equipment on this 1989 Special Product.

And, here's my 1985 Lew Horton Model 624. The new, perfect condition original S&W Finger Grooved Combat grips are safe and sound in the original box in the gun safe.

Doc44,

Doc...Thanks for sharing the pic of this 29. I also never knew these existed. I have a special affection for snub nose fixed sight guns and yours is simply gorgeous. Here's my stainless version of the 44 Mag.

I also have a few others:

Machtech...What else can I say but STUNNING!

I've never even laid hands on one of those "Bloodwork" guns and you have 3. Can you spell ENVY!!!
Thanks for sharing.

Lot o' sweet N's here. Apparently the snubs do have a highly addictive quality.

Couple of my favorites:

M29-3 with Executioner stags:

And a 629-5, an excellent traveling companion:

Nice shootin' irons, all!

Snubbies?
I got an N Frame snubbie around here somewhere.
How about a before & after I took the pretty but gawdawful Combat grips off and added a set of Stags & T-Grip.

The Model 25-2 that S&W SHOULD have made . . . my favorite wheelgun, with a chopped-to-3 1/4" barrel and a radically narrowed, rounded and smoothed trigger . . .

It now sports a polished blue Tyler T-grip too . . .

Tom

PS: Sorry for the modern MIM cylinder latch, I'm a lefty and this latch is much faster for me in action handgun matches calling for fast reloads.

Hey Tom, S&W is making those now (snub 25s)...you just have to put up with the lock and the cast parts.

My 25-13
(I'm looking for a set of Retro Target's to arrive form Ahrends tomorrow or the next day!)

If you'll humor a pre-1945 N-Frame, here's my Hand Ejector, 2nd Model made in 1916 for the Brits.

Yep, and they look really nice. The MIM parts and such don't bother me, but the damn internal lock is a deal-breaker. I'd have bought one of the new 25-2 ones for my son if it didn't have the lock, but as soon as I researched it I lost all interest in getting one. I could never live with myself if I gave my son a gun that might lock up and cost him his life.

Thus, I'm "cursed" with being "stuck" with the real "classics!"

T.
