I have recently acquired one of these.I cant find out much on it.Made in 1989,4810 made.I need more info.It has a set of millet rings mounted straight on rib.I have never seen one and thought it was some gun smith concoction.Also has finger groove lew horton lookin grips?Could someone post me a good picture of one of these so I will know if its the real deal.This one would rate about 95% Thanks-Jim

Hey tellico
They made the same configuration in the 29, 586, 686. These were all limited runs. I believe all the models(SS or blued) came with blued rings. Yours sounds correct, as they were shipped.

This is my 586! How about pics of your 629? ? ? ?
