I recently purchased a .460/NRA edition and love it. I am considering mounting Eotech's 512 HoloSight. I'm new here so sorry if this has been covered. Has anyone done this already? If so what advice can you offer? I like the idea of the HoloSight for fast acquisition of targets since I will be using it for Hunting.

First of all, welcome to the forum.

I went thru this same deal. I ended up with an Aimpoint on mine. It sat closer to the centerline of the bore, which I like better. You can get a little magnification too without adding another piece of equipment. This is just my opinion. Have fun!

I have an Eotech 552 on my AR pistol, it is huge and sort of heavy on a pistol. Eotech is first rate, but I would lean more towards the smaller holos. Would that combo fit a holster? The ISPC Open class are using a very compact red dot sight. Maybe look at all the options.

Thanks for the input. I have not had a chance to check out all the specs on the 512, from what I can tell its a bit smaller than the 552 eotech? Does anyone have pictures of an eotech mounted on a 460 or similar frame? As far as the holster S&W has a chest holster just for the 460 that allows room for scope. thanks again for the posts keep up coming please.
