This is another "put together" gun of mine. I found the 6 inch 586 wearin' a set of Pac's.
Changed that to a set of targets with pretty grain then shopped for a box on that well known gun-site. (Big thanks Marcas Registradas! )
Full underlug guns, you either like 'em or you don't!

Great Wood, GF. Something about blued steel and those stocks, neat! I like the nickel also. Also, I happen to like full underlug barrels!

I like the wood on your 586 better than the OEM ones mine came with.

I know a lot of the traditionalists on the forum aren't big fans of the underlug....but it really works for me! Nice gun!

Thats pretty!!! Color and grain patterns differ between grips. My 586 has the darker tint like yours, which I prefer. Took mine off and slapped a set of Herretts on it to save them as I pack this revolver in the woods and wanted to keep the originals intact. Once again congrats on a beautiful and IMO beautiful 586. BTW I love underlugs.
