CDNN is selling 3 inch M60's chambered in .357, but WITHOUT the IL.
No mention of being used guns, whatsoever. Special run just for them?

Most likely police trade-ins (could be unissued) or part of an over-run. Have never heard of CDNN contracting with S&W for limited run guns like Lew Horton. What is the price?

I want a 3' .357 "J" frame wo/il this is the best offer I have seen anywhere. Anyone see any loopholes here?
I had been looking at the M60 pro, but it has the il.
CDNN lists what might be S&W Sku s 102434 & 102430 are these S&W or something else?

CDNN is NOT an S&W distributor, so I doubt that have the ability to do a distributor special like Horton.

This could have been one of those "safe clean outs" when weird stuff gets sold off, who knows.

I have their catalog, ordered from them before. I think you need to be a dealer otherwise, that is, to see their firearms. hth

I have accessed CDNN's catalog online with a high speed internet connection. Otherwise it times out. Only FFL holders can get the CDNN print edition, if they even issue it anymore.

I got it too. My 01 FFL went in '95. I do buy quite a bit from them and have for over 20 years. FFL or not, if you ain't happy, they'll make it right. Oh boy, would I love that high grade .410 Browning 525 (pg45). Don't have any use for it but that never stopped me from buying a gun. Joe

The 60-10 was the 3" no lock .357 mag. I have the -9 which is the snubbie without the lock.

I don't have an ffl but was getting the print catalog. I just called them and said I was on dialup and couldn't download the catalog.

I don't have the new one though.

You don't have to be an FFL holder to get their catalog mailed to you. I've been on their mailing list for over five years.

The m64 2 in isnt being made anymore. So,,,, with peoples holding on to them the m64s are going to be pricy these days. I normally check with a good friend of mine that runs the gun counter at a well known pawn shop in my city and he checks for me each week. ! just pick up 2 4 inch model 10s for my collection. One has rubber grips and the other has original wood grips and cardboard box. And no ILS on them. rich625z

CDNN gets S&W's short runs - runs not large enough to put in their catalog. It's been over five years since I got a 2" 10-11 ($280) and 6" 66-6 ($350) from them - factory fresh - and neither had been a catalog item for a bit. The 66 had an IL, the 10 didn't. They seem to purge their catalog lists often - I haven't gotten a print catalog in a while - the range store got one last week - great buys! Hmmm, maybe my CFO round-files them??

Stainz

PS Don't forget - a new S&W from them will still qualify for a rebate.

My S&W model 60-10 with CT grips is my favorite go to gun. I'm sure glad that I bought mine while the gittin was good. I didn't pay anywhere close to the price asked these days.

I called CDNN this morning. The SKU 102434 is in fact a new M60-10, "target variation" must have been manufactured in 1996.
For those of us whining about the internal lock this is a rare opportunity.
Mine should be here by Friday.

Nope, non FFL's can receive them, I got mine in the mail today. Here's how it works: if you have ordered any item from their catalog within the last year, they will keep sending the catalogs in the mail. Ordering a gun shipped to an FFL does not count for you, it counts for the FFL. If you order grips, mags, etc. sent direct to you, you will get the paper catalog for a year.

Say, what do you all think of the hi-viz sights on the model 60? I've never had anything other than ramp or patridge sights on my revolvers and thought that hi-viz might help with my middle-aged eyes.

Also, for what it's worth, these S&W's are also eligible for the $50 rebate according to CDNN and S&W's Website ("Purchase a New Revolver over $500 and Receive $50 Cash Back").
