Default New revolver enclosures?

I am awaiting delivery of a 3" 686+, and have been perusing YouTube to watch commentaries about this revolver (yes, I know, I should have done this before the purchase! ). One of the common items in all the videos, is that S&W appears to no longer include a tool kit, which has traditionally included the SAT, cleaning rod, and mop. Is this the case, no more tools or SATs?

Unfortunately, I think you're a couple of decades late! The last S&W I bought which included tools (cleaning rod, swab and cheap flat screwdriver) was a 4-inch 622 - which is dated 9233. So, I think it was boxed on the 233rd day of 1989. I'm sure I'll be corrected on this statement; but, I think the latest ship dates for boxes with tools were in the early 90's - possibly up until 1995 ... Crook-bay will have tools if you want them ...

The last new Smith that I bought was purchased about the mid '90s, and it came with a tool pack and the flat metal SAT. I guess I am spoiled!
