Default What model was/is it?

Once upon a time, Smith & Wesson made a "snubby" in stainless chambered for .45ACP, that looked a lot like this one...

...except THIS one is .357 Magnum/.38 Special.

Anybody remember the one in .45ACP? What model number was/is it?

The revolver pictured is a model 327. It is an 8 shot, scandium framed, titanium cylinder, 357 Magnum revolver that was introduced around 2003 or 2004.

This compact N-frame revolver weighs in at 24 ounces and packs LOTS of punch.

The revolvers commonly referred to simply as 625-10 and 625-11 are Scandium framed, stainless cylinder, 8 shot 45 revolvers. I have two of them in 45 Colt.

There were three variations of the 45 snubby.

Part number 170226 was introduced in 2003. The Scandium frame was clear coated and the revolver was chambered in 45 ACP. 300 were produced if I recall correctly.

Part number 170252 was introduced in 2004. This revolver was black finished Scandium like the 357 pictured above. It was also chambered in 45 ACP. 200 were produced.

Part number 170266 was introduced in 2005. The Scandium frame was clear coated and the revolver was chambered in 45 Colt. 103 were produced.
