Default Twin 3" 36's

I love 3" S&W's. Have had a 3" 36-6 for about a year now and it's a great little shooter. I recently traded for a 3" 36-10 factory magnaported and absolutely love it. It came with fancy rosewoods but I slapped a set of Uncle Mikes on it and the 36-6 for shooting as +P .38' stang a little with the wood set on and these grips with their full coverage backstrap absorb recoil and let's me have a natural sight picture when I bring the revolvers up to fire.

Wish I had Art Salmons picture taking abilities but here's the same old wooden deck background.

Take care all.

SG

Thank you very much Jeff! The 60 will not feel any magnums going down it's barrel and neither will my hand. I'll save them for my K, L and N frames.

If the need arises, there's no hash on the planet that can't be settled with a good J-frame. That looks like two goods 'uns to me!

Pred,

Nice consecutive #'d nickeled 36's you have there!!! Love nickeled guns the older I get and yours are SWEET. I KNOW theres no way in h*** you'd part with them. Know I wouldn't.
To answer your question yes the stainless is a model 60. Don't know what I was thinking when I posted them I swear when I hit 50 the brain started going south. Bad on me but they are 2 great shooting J's. The 60 with the magnaports does not have as good as trigger as the 36 but I'm working the action to smooth it out.

Thanks and take care Gents,

Roger

I lucked into a 36-6 a while back, and it quickly became one of my favorites. I tried Hogues first....

......but then I found these "round to square" factory targets. Now I have a baby 586.

Nice guns, fellas. I also would love to pick up an adjustable sighted 36 or 60, in the future.

Here's a picture of my triplets to go with your twins.

Nice Smiths gents!! Keep em coming. Best darn little revolver ever made IMO. Love my 17-3 but these little guys are perfect for hiking and have a little more power if you need it for 2 legged predators and such.

Now that is fantastic. Not a fan of the newer Chief Specials, or the full lugs either. I love the exposed e-rod Chiefs. I am a huge fan of the no dash and - 1's. I have a 36 no dash, nickel 2" square butt. It is amazing. I am dying to get a 3 inch as well, and you have what I hope to have one day, I want a stainless, blued and nickel finish of a particular model. I'll probably shoot for all 3 in the 2 inch version, but I want a blued and nickel 3 inch to go with the short barrels. I think that gun is the only gun I like in a 3 inch barrel. For some reason I don't care for the k frame or larger 3 inch guns. That is a beautiful set dude. I'm not a jealous type, but you sir have something I'm a bit envious of. I love that they are all square butts too. Be proud, as I'm sure you are.
