Default Smith & Wesson 940 Revolver

Does anyone know where I can get some full moon clips for this revolver? It uses a 9mm cartridge and without the full moon clips, I have to punch out the spent cartridges with a pencil.

As usual Chad is on the spot and correct. I get mine from Brownells, you can get packs of 4 for $6.66, order number 940-191-410AB. Those are the original S&W factory clips, and I like them a little better than aftermarket.

I order mine from S&W, they're around $1.35 each, they're the originals, and they take just a few days to get them to you.

I know Ranch Products "HAD" some as I saw them Last Weekend at the gunshow..
" I DO NOT" there not for sale..
Got rid of my 2nd 940 + 4 moon clips yesterday..
The last Dozen or so in my stash aren't for sale..
Good Luck!!
S&W Did have some the last time I ordered from them..

Also note that the full moon clips that RUGER sells for the SP101 9mm can & will work in the 940 too..
They are shaped different as they grab the ammo from the outside..

Hey mclark202 that's a pretty nice 940 you scored there..
Keep it & it'll become worth a fortune!!
Check out my New Avatar..Look familiar?? The JM686..
BTW I fit a 940-1 cylinder to my 642 No Dash last night & now am the owner of the fabled "942" Airweight..
Range Report Due on that little lightweight snubbie..
Most of the aftermarket moon clips sold by TK etc come from Ranch Products I am Told..
I luckily scored a few dozen of the .040" thick moon clips from TK a few years back for a SP101 9mm I had, These are the same moons I sent with the 940 that mclark202 scored..
I have one package of the factory moons from S&W. They are .035" thick & The Part # is 191410000..
