Anyone know what this means???
this Model 60-4 LS has CET9198 engraved on the side? I'm probably the only one who doesn't know.

It's the serial number. Also on the butt under the grip, or should be.

A friend of mine has a 342PD with the serial number laser engraved on the frame like that. It looks like **** there.
I suspect it was done because the factory stocks covered the butt. Who knows why they didn't just put it in the yoke cut.

Is that gun actually marked M-60-4?! That should be a full-lugged three-inch barrel with target sights, and NO lock or MIM parts. Yours has the MIM parts. I think it's a later gun, unless the LS (LadySmith?) mark changes things.
