Default SW 619 vs 686p

Any big differences between the SW 686P and the 619? I'm thinking of trading in my SW 65, maybe.

If I remember correctly the 619 and 686P are both 7 shots. The 619 has a two piece barrel and the 686P is a one piece barrel. (There are pros and cons to both types of barrel assemblies). The 619 has fixed sights while the 686P has adjustable (rear) sights. The 686P also has a barrel with a full underlug. I personally prefer the 686P but you can't go wrong with either.

Looking at this from Murphy's standpoint: the less there is to go wrong, the less will go wrong. The gun with the one piece barrel (less parts) is the way to go.

Thumbs up

Keep the 65 and buy a 686, you won't regret it.
