Default Correct Grip Choice For My 22-4?

I purchased a Thunder Ranch 22-4 about 2 months ago. As much as I love the way the gun looks with the original grips, I felt as though my hands were too big for them. I am not sure if it shipped with the gun originally, but when I bought the gun second hand, it came with a t-grip adapter for only one finger. It made the gun more comfortable to shoot, but I didn't care for the way it fit on the gun itself. I found these grips on the S&W website and liked the way they looked. I am just curious if these grips look "correct" on this model? By that, I want to know if these grips are similar to the ones they used back in the 50's on this model? I would appreciate any input on this.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Hi, The grips you have on the gun are great looking grips.I like the new Altamont grips. BUT, Those would not be correct for the 1950's era.
The 1950's HE came with magnas they look like whats on the picture below.

PanamaJack,
Thanks for the quick reply. I was trying to keep the look as correct as possible. I am just not that knowledgable when it comes to S&W's. As a consolation, I am very happy with how they feel, and look for that matter. For the record, that is a beautiful old S&W you have there. Having the box also must be the icing on the cake.
Thanks again,
Chris

Beautiful grips and gun also. I regret selling my M22-4. I would buy another if I find one reasonable. What was I thinking when I sold mine.
