Well I went looking for a N rame and could not resist this super clean J frame model 36 no dash. Can anyone help with dating Ser#73JXXX
this 36 is absolute flawless. and no IL!

Looks to be 1971-1972 during the "floating J" series of numbers.

C.S., That is an awsome little J frame. The 36 is such a great little gun. congrats on the great find.

I was surprised to find a 36 in that kind of shape, The person who traded it in also traded a model 38 in that is just as nice leaving with both would have killed my fund for a 44. And the model 38 was a lot less.
