Question Grip Question

Hi, All:
I have a question reguarding grips for the two S&W J frame models, The Mod.40 Centenial and the Mod. 49 Bodyguard. Are the grips used on them the same, and would they interchange?

Default NO

The grips on the models 40 and 42, to include pre models, will fit only these models! ! ! ! The 40 & 42 have smaller washers on the back of the grip panels which means any other J frame grip washers will not fit the radius on the 40 & 42 frames. This also means the grips from the 40 & 42, which would include the "high horns" will not fit on any other J frame! They will be very loose at the top!
