Default Interchangable Front Sight for a 610

I just purchased a new 610-3. It has the hole in the front for the interchangable sight system but the current plain black sight is pinned so I have some questions. What would be involved with adding the parts to make the front sight interchangable? Looks like I would need to remove the pin install a spring and plunger then reinstall the pin. Is it that simple? Has anyone ever done this?? Are fiberoptic fronts readily available for this system?

I took my 610 to the range today and after getting it home found it already has the interchangable sight system! I figured the plunger would be in the front and you would push a button located in the hole at the front of the barrel to release the sight. The plunger is in the rear of the sight well and you push the entire sight to the rear to release it.
