Simple question, can you help me out?
If I wanted to chase the threads on a barrel prior to installation, what die size would I need for a J, K, and N frame barrel?
Thanx,

They are special dies available from Brownells. Each frame size is a different diameter but all are 32 (I believe) threads per inch. The sizes are listed in Kuhnhausen's Shop Manual for S&W Revolvers.

Oops! 36 TPI instead of 32. At least the part about checking the listing in The Shop Manual was correct as was the fact that Brownells has them.
