Default "High Horn" magna grips vs magnas

Supica & Nahas in their SCSW reference a "high horn" magna grip which came on the Centennial and Bodyguard J Frame models, but I can't seem to distinguish between a high horn vs a standard horn magna.

Does anyone have a side by side pic of the 2 styles they would be willing to post that would help me see the difference?

Thanking you in advance,
Tom

no pics. I struggled with this even with some help on the board. I think I finally saw the light.

The TOP of the grip is rounded off more on the magnas than the High horns. As you look at the gun from the side view, bbl pointed left, it is the radius that is coming out directly toward you. Think of it as a shelf on top of the grip on the high horns, that has been rounded off more on the magnas. You need to look at some side by side pics to compare, just don't have any to show.

'Sharp shoulder' is probably a better description of the K magna variations. 'High horn' usually refers to the special J frame grips that have a larger horn area than normal that were used on Centenial Hammerless in the 1950s.

In the pictures above, the 2" blue gun has high-horn grips. The other gun does not.

Ah Ha! A pic is worth 1,000 words. Thank you very much!

Now, to start recognizing some "sharp shouldered" magnas.
Thanks to all.
