Default broken m19 hammer nose

Hi. I just fired my new-used m19-3 and the firing pin broke after 100 or so rounds (hammer nose). Any ideas why? Also Numerichs only shows 19-5 and 19-6 parts. Are they the same? If not what is a good part source. Thanks

Get the part from Smith & Wesson. You'll need the hammer nose and rivet. I would get the spring also.

I'd go through S&W for the parts, but I'm sure all the others are just as good.

S&W no longer offers the parts. I found that Numerichs stocks 2 parts for the 19-3, the hammer nose and a used cyl! I may just sell the thing when I get the hammer nose installed as I shoot alot and don't want to end up with a gun with a worn or broken part that is not available!

Sir - If you have $3.00 for postage, send it to me, and you will recieve a new hammer nose #5133 for the M19. I'm all out of the rivets at this time, so you will still need a new rivet. You can reach me at [email protected]. Let me know - thanks, Judge (no PM please)
