I posted this in the M&P forum but thought I would ask here. Anyone know where I can get a new sear block housing assembly for an M&P 9MM Compact with thumb safety?

S&W wants me to ship back the gun which costs about 5x the part. Brownell's and Midway don't carry it for the Thumb Safety equipped model. I know it is different from the regular assembly because I was told it comes with the thumb safety included.

Any other sources out there for it?

Can't you mail them just the frame? Send it Priority rather than First Class, it won't cost much.

You can try this site, Welcome to Apex Tactical Specialties, Inc. or the other listed. I have had Great success with Apex. They have most parts or can modify your gun to what your need is.
