Default 5906TSW Barrel Wear

Purchased used 5906TSW and upon inspecting barrel I noticed what appears to be excessive wear on barrel lug, where it contacts the slide stop pin in the unlocked / out of battery position. It looks like impact and friction damage with corresponding flat spots on the slide stop pin. Has anyone had this kind of wear on their pistols. Going to buy a new slide stop assembly and try to stone out the defect. I am new to this forum and will try to upload a pic showing the area of wear. Thanks everyone. loubrody
