Default 638 conversion to .9mm

I would like to know your thoughts on converting my 638-3 to 9mm. Any advantages/disadvantages. What are the ballistics of the .38 cal vs 9mm.
Good idea or not? Thanks

The link below will bring you to Buffalo Bores 38 special (HEAVY) +P loading which IMHO will blow away ANY 9mm loading. I know others have their opinions on this, but for me this is the best there is in a 38 Spl. defense cartridge. Actual Chronograph results out of my 2" Chief Special are 1040 fps. with a ME of 379 Foot Pounds - that's impressive to say the least!
