Default Custom Shop Revolver package difference

Does anyone happen to know what the difference between the Master Revolver Action Package and the Combat Revolver Package is?

I see the combat package comes with a glass bead refinish but I was actually thinking of getting a high polish finish.

Anyone know the difference between the two?

I don't want to compromise ignition with light primer strikes....

Just looking at the Smith website, the Combat Package appears to be $155 more than the Master job which is how much the glass bead blue job costs. So I am guessing that you get the listed Master stuff plus the bead blue which makes for the Combat job. Just a guess...

Wouldn't it be simpler to just call S&W and ask?

Theoretically, yes...but I usually can't call from the office and I am not sure how late their lines are open.

I called S&W today...The big difference is indeed the refinishing. The S&W Customer Rep did say the action jobs were slightly different but he did not sound 100% confident on it.

He also told me they will re-laser whatever was on the gun which I might or might not want...

Now I need to save my pennies for some S&W work.
