I recently sold a Model 65 and the buyer returned it due to too much endshake. Frankly, I had never noticed it when I owned the gun and I had shot it many times. It does have some small amount of movement with the cylinder closed and my feeler gauges say it ranges from 0.003" all the way forward to 0.007". all the way back. Is this excessive and should I install bushings to take up some of the difference? If so, should I try to take it all out or only part of the 0.004" difference?
