Default Body Guard Extreme trigger pull and length of travel.

I just purchased a BG .380 with laser. The gun feels great in my hand as I'm used to my GLOCK 32 40 cal. However the trigger pull weight is beyond any gun I have ever shot. The travel length is also off the map. This makes the gun undesirable to shoot. It would take forever to train your self to use this gun accurately. I consider myself an excellent shot and this gun make me look like I pick up a gun for the first time. Even after 200 rounds. The laser is not adjusted correctly either. It is a great feeling gun for those of use with big hands and conceals easily, but I'm disappointed. What can be done to rectify this problem?

'it is what it is". the trigger pull is long. That said, it can be made better and much more manageable (Mine is now anyway.)
First, the laser will be off, it's up to you to adjust it. Don't do it from a bench though. I went nuts trying to get good grouping off a bench. Off hand with a practiced pull, it will group on a salad plate at 30 and right to point of the laser. Good enough for it's intended purpose.

The trigger. Im guessing somebody is working on a trigger kit for these right now. Untill then, I found a few drops of CLP on the hammer pin/top of teh main spring, followed by a 1000 or so dry fires (in front of the TV of couse) and the trigger is at least 2x better.

The BG380 trigger is easier than most of my DA revolvers. So for me, it isn't an issue. But, if you mostly shoot semi-autos, then you are going to need some practice with the BG380.
