Default Lyman Electronic Digital Electronic Tigger Pull Gauge

Anyone using this product and care to comment on it or if you know of a similar product please let me know. Reads 0-12 lbs and can get it delivered for aroung $62. Is 12 lbs enough for a hand gun. I am not a _smith_ and this would be for my personal use. TIA

I've found it adequate for general use on my pistols with single action trigger modes and those DAO-type plastic models with lighter weight triggers.

As with other equipment, becoming familiar with the proper use of it is important (placement of the hook against trigger face, positioning and securing the pistol during the process, using enough times for an acceptable "average" result, etc).

I can't remember what I paid for mine some years ago, though.

For serious use I get out the weights, though.

Have had mine for 5 or so years. Prior to that I had the RCBS spring type which was useless. I like the Lyman and use it quite a lot.
