Default Ambidextrous Safety on SW1911SC

I ordered a SW1911SC recently and have already been wondering about how difficult it would be to replace that ambidextrous safety. I love the looks of the pistol with the oversized extractor, titanium firing pin, bobtail, etc., but;I don't care for the ambidextrous safety. Is it a viable option to do that on this pistol and if so, what manufacturer would you suggest?

I have had good luck with Ed Brown products.

I also installed an EGW HD single side on my duty carry springer.

They require fitting to your sear and sometimes the contour of the safety has to be matched to the contour of the gun frame.

Thanks-I was hoping for a drop in but I guess that's fantasy. I'll check into both. I know EGW makes some great parts and I wouldn't imagine it would be that difficult.

Installing a new thumb safety is easy, but it has to be done exactly right. File too much and the gun is unsafe and the part is ruined. All you need is the part itself and an india stone. You can use a file, but the stone will force you to go slower. Besides researching the process online, you will need to know what the "Click Test" is and how to do it.
