Default Nickel Gun Finish

Does anyone know a safe way to clear up the finish on nickel guns? I have a few N frames that are in great shape, but some small areas are a bit foggy, especially where the grips meet the frame. I've used Flitz polish on other finishes to remove slight blemishes, but I'm not sure if nickel will stand up without damage. Appreciate any input.

I like Mother's polish, but Flitz or Maas will work too. Yes, a little polish will clean up your nickel finish quite successfully. Just go slow, using your fingers and clean cotton cloth. Assuming your guns were made in the last few decades and are in good shape, you would have to polish for days with your fingers to put a dent in the thickness of the nickel.

Flitz and Mothers Mag wheel polish work wonders. Use sparingly and in the least aggressive manor you can. Follow up with a good wax to help protect the finish. Gotta love the Nickel "N" frames when there looking there best! Kyle
