Here's an interesting ratchet cut. I dry fired a bunch of times and detected that the trigger would only complete 4/5ths of it's stroke on ONE chamber (and this was interittently). I examined the hand and corresponding ratchet to find this interesting abnormality. The hand appears to be engaging this excess metal (on some intermittant occasions) instead of the ratchet face in the normal fashion. This appears to be why the trigger cannot complete its stroke because the cyl advances prematurely into the bolt/stop notch lockup point.
My non-professional eyes say this is a ratchet that wasn't completely milled away. Has anyone seen anything like this before?
