Default 5906 extractor

Having problem with extractor on my 5906. Looks like I just have to drive out the vertical pin. Does not want to move that easily. Without having to get out a 2lb hammer, what am I missing here?

You may want to do a search on this one. From what I remember this is a factory replacement job and they will not sell you a new one.

Thanks for the info. I will call S&W. I was afraid of that, it looked so simple but would not move.
