Where can I find detailed disassembly instructions for M41 receiver. I want to change the safety to a new style with wider thumbpiece. Mine is very difficult to operate.

edberry, may be helpful if you would post source and pictures of this improved safety for the S&W 41 - many folks unhappy with the origonal one.

I have never used the safety on either of my Model 41's. I shoot them in matches where no safety is required. I would like to see the one you are talking about though.
