Default Smith & Wesson Revolver Armorer School

Does anyone know of any future S&W Revolver armorer schools in or near Oklahoma City. I would like to attend one, but not sure where to check. I e-mailed a guy at Murry State College about the NRA Summer School program they have, but I've not got a responce yet.

The only field schools listed so far for next year aren't anywhere close to you ... http://www.smith-wesson.com/wcsstore...my/FSSITES.pdf

You might have to either consider going back to the factory for the class ... Product: Revolver Armorer or this one if you want the DAO J-frame included ... Product: Revolver/J Frame DAO Revolver Armorer ... or maybe call and ask if they've added one of the field-only DAO J-frame classes somewhere.

The classes aren't exactly inexpensive when you factor in the cost of the tools. Depending whether you take the full revolver, DAO J or revolver & DAO J class, some small tools might need to be added to round out a kit.

Fastbolt, do you know whether the armorers' schools @ Springfield will be open to civilians or just LEO? The listing looks like the former, but I thought I had heard that you could only get into them as a LEO armorer or affiliated in some way with a department/agency. I tried scrolling through the website there, but it was really dragging slowly today. Thanks!

It's been a long time since I even asked that question, but from what I've heard mentioned now and again my impression is that it's restricted to LE/Gov/Mil/Security users.

You can call their training academy and ask, although you'll probably have to leave a message. Busy folks.
