I recently picked up a used Model 36 online.
After getting it home from my transfer dealer, I begin to look it over. The gun had been reblued, but wasn't any big issue as I wasn't looking for a BBQ gun.
What I did find, was when I gave the extractor rod a sharp jab with my thumb the cylinder slid back past the frame stud.
At first, I thought it was most likely over polished or very well worn. Upon close inspection, I found the cylinder wobbles on the yoke at the rear. Approximately 15-20 1000th's of an inch anyway you want to move it. This is what is causing it slide back past the frame stud.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
